A Virtual Community for Adults Living with HIV
Join the Support GroupIf you were recently diagnosed, you may remember the first thoughts that hit you.
Am I going to be okay?
Is my immune system failing?
Will anyone ever want to touch me again?
How do I tell my partner?
How do I tell my family?
What are people going to think about me?
Will I be alone forever?
Am I going to die?
Even if you were diagnosed years ago, those fears can still echo in the background.
Living with HIV is not just a medical experience.
It is emotional. It is relational.
It affects identity, intimacy, and how you see yourself in the world.
You may look strong on the outside.
But inside, you may still carry questions no one else sees.
This ongoing virtual group is specifically tailored for adults living with HIV who want connection, understanding, and real support in a safe and confidential setting.
You do not have to hold all of this alone.

• Gay, straight, bisexual, pansexual, or queer
• Married, single, dating, or partnered

You may feel overwhelmed. Or you may simply want a space where you can speak freely without explaining yourself.
If you are living with HIV and want a supportive space to talk honestly about your experience, you belong here.
This group is LGBTQ-affirming, which means all identities are respected. It does not mean the group is only for LGBTQ individuals.
Whether you live a heterosexual, traditional lifestyle or are part of the LGBTQ community, you will be welcomed with dignity and fairness.

This is not a lecture. It is not a cold clinical space.
It is a guided conversation where people living with HIV can speak openly about the fears, the frustrations, and the growth that come with this diagnosis.
You will find practical tools. You will find perspective. And most importantly, you will find that you are not alone.
Our Promise
This is a balanced, welcoming space.
All identities are respected. All belief systems are treated with fairness. Political or ideological agendas are not part of the group.
What matters here is shared experience, mutual respect, and personal growth.
Whether you are conservative or progressive, deeply religious or not religious at all, openly LGBTQ or living a traditional heterosexual life — you will be treated with dignity.
DSW, LCSW — Facilitator
I am a licensed psychotherapist and Doctor of Social Work. I am also a proud member of the LGBTQ community and have been living with HIV for 13 years.
I remember the early questions. The fear. The uncertainty.
I bring both professional clinical training and lived experience into every session. That combination allows me to create a collaborative, connected, and compassionate environment where everyone shares the lived reality of HIV.
I understand the medical side. I understand the social stigma. And I understand the quiet thoughts that people often do not say out loud.
This group exists so those thoughts can be spoken safely.
